Capital Chevrolet GMC of Lexington is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle buying process, providing exceptional service, and achieving sales goals. What you will be doing:

  • Be the welcoming face of the dealership by greeting and engaging customers in a friendly, professional way.
  • Listen closely to customers’ needs and match them with the perfect vehicle.
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process — from first handshake to the thrill of driving off the lot.
  • Negotiate and close sales with confidence while keeping customer satisfaction a top priority.
  • Stay up to date on the latest specs, features, and benefits of our Chevrolet and GMC lineup.
  • Consistently meet or exceed your sales goals — because hitting targets feels good.
  • Take part in ongoing training and development to keep your skills sharp.
  • Jump in and help with other tasks as needed — teamwork makes the dream work.

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and people skills that build trust and rapport quickly.
  • A results-driven mindset with a hunger to succeed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer skills for managing customer info and transactions.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings.
