Bencher/Finisher (polisher) 2nd Shift bei Uniloy INC

Job Summary: The Bencher/Finisher will operate a variety of hand tools to polish precision parts for machines and mold components. The bencher/finisher finishes parts using both manual and powered equipment with attention to fine details to precise geometry. The bencher/finisher’s goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output. 

• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. 

• Select appropriate equipment and techniques for a job. 

• Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications, production and identify defects. 

• All other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred 

• Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail 

• Great verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements 

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

•  Knowledge of metal properties and other material 

• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
