Job Title: Marketing and Admissions Coordinator

Department: Marketing and Admissions

Reports to: Executive Director of Community Engagement and Director of Admissions

Classification: Full time

 DEFINITION

The Marketing and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing, communications, and admissions/enrollment efforts at Linfield Christian School. In collaboration with the Executive Director of Community Engagement and the Director of Admissions, this role will assist in all aspects related to, but not limited to, advertising, promotion, internal and external communication, lead generation and nurturing, and retention.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Marketing & Communications

  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including print, digital, social media, email, and advertising.
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with brand messaging.
  • Manage social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and tracking analytics.
  • Draft and proofread copy for newsletters, brochures, press releases, and promotional materials.

 Design & Content

  • Supports the design of marketing collateral (flyers, event programs, digital graphics, signage) using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
  • Capture and curate photos and videos of school events, programs, and campus life for use in marketing materials.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized library of media assets.
     

Events & Outreach

  • Provide marketing support for admissions, advancement, and community events, including open houses, philanthropic events and school celebrations.
  • Assist with event logistics such as invitations, RSVPs, signage, and event-day promotion/coverage.
    • Collaborate with parent and alumni groups to support community engagement efforts.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on campaign performance and social media engagement.
  • Provide recommendations for improving outreach and communication strategies.

Admissions

Family Engagement & Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective families—answering phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
  • Provide accurate information regarding programs, admissions requirements, tuition, financial aid, and deadlines.
  • Schedule campus tours and help guide families through Linfield’s Admissions Checklist as needed. 

Admissions Operations

  • Maintain accurate and confidential admissions records in the school’s database (e.g., FACTS and Blackbaud).
  • Track applications from inquiry to enrollment and provide timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate communications such as thank-you notes, event reminders, decision letters, and enrollment packets.

Event Support

  • Assist in planning and executing admissions events such as Open Houses, Preview Days, New Family Orientations, and Information Sessions.
  • Prepare event materials, registration lists, signage, and hospitality needs.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure families have a welcoming experience.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with the Marketing team to ensure admissions materials and messaging are consistent and aligned with school branding.
  • Support the admissions team with special projects as needed.

 Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, admissions, or related role (internships considered).
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
    • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website content management systems.
    • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent). Preferred.
    • Photography and video editing experience preferred.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
    • Enthusiasm for education and alignment with the mission and values of Linfield Christian School.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 75% sitting, 15% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
