Job Description:
Manager Operations is responsible for directing all warehouse and distribution operations for a shift(s) to ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution of product to our customers.
- Responsible for strategically managing the operation in compliance with company policies and vision
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Set, prepare, and present KPI’s
- Conduct daily operations meetings
- Proficient giving project presentations to senior management
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies and other Conectiv site management
- Full ownership of safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience in the department
- Strategic planning and forecasting, performance assessments, complex problem solving, labor balancing, and daily/weekly/monthly staffing determination
- Produce reports and statistics
- Recruit, select, orientate, and motivate employees
- Mentor, train, and develop Leads and Supervisors for career progression
- Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.
- Must be available to adjust work hours as necessary to meet business demands and customer requirements.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a warehouse floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
BA/BBS preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5-year experience in warehouse/shipping facility and 2-years in a leadership role

- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and systems
- Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
