Position Summary:
The On-the-Road Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence by supervising delivery teams, maintaining compliance with company standards, and supporting a high-quality customer experience. This field-based role involves frequent travel between delivery locations, contractor check-ins, and on-site problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate delivery teams in the field to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards.
- Conduct route audits, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations with independent contractors and delivery drivers.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delivery teams to improve efficiency and professionalism.
- Resolve customer escalations on-site and act as a liaison between delivery teams, customers, and the RAS dispatch/operations center.
- Perform quality checks on deliveries and installations, ensuring products are delivered in good condition and services meet or exceed expectations.
- Ensure proper documentation, inventory handling, and use of company technology (e.g., handheld devices or delivery software).
- Assist in onboarding and training new contractors and drivers.
- Maintain a visible presence in the market through daily visits to routes and terminals.
- Submit reports on team performance, delivery issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or field supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logistics best practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Proficiency in mobile technology and route optimization tools.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel throughout assigned region.
- Field-based role with exposure to warehouse and delivery environments.
- May require early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
