Description
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Youth Pastor is to provide catalytic leadership to the student ministry of The Table Church, helping to envision, strategize, implement, and lead a student ministry that multiplies disciples who live and lead like Jesus:
- This role is for someone who is highly evangelistic and has a calling to help middle and high school students follow Jesus.
- The opportunity is to create pathways for students to come to salvation, grow in their faith, become disciples (one who loves and obeys Jesus), and help disciple others.
- Along the way, you will ensure that the DNA, vision, and values of The Table are communicated, demonstrated, and infused into TBL YTH.
- While the responsibilities and skills detailed below are critical, a heart for God’s Kingdom and demonstrated leadership skills, talents, and results are the foundation for success in this leadership opportunity.
Key Leadership Roles
The Youth Pastor will work both directly and through volunteer leaders to grow and multiply the student ministry of The Table Church. Both directly and through others, the Youth Pastor will grow the TBL YTH Middle School and High School ministries to each consistently have more than 50 students attending on a weekly basis. The vision will be accomplished by developing disciple-making leaders – adult volunteers who coach and lead Tables (small groups), then developing student leaders to lead at a significant level.

Responsibilities
- Create, balance, and integrate the large group (worship) and small group TBL YTH experiences to reach and grow students in their faith.
- Lead the student Table (small group) network, through transformative volunteer coaches:

Qualifications
- You’re humble. You are teachable and have a servant-hearted mindset.
- You’re hungry. You show initiative, energy, and drive.
- You’re healthy. You’re emotionally, spiritually, and relationally grounded.
- You’re highly evangelistic. You have a track record of reaching the lost, and you have a heart for seekers and the unchurched. You care about seeing others come to know Jesus.

- You’re a disciple-maker. You invest in people, and they catch that vision and go on to disciple others. You have a track record of helping people take their next step in faith, and some of them have followed your example and are currently doing the same with others.
