Summary of Job Description
As a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics management and service delivery. You oversee the operation of the storeroom, ensuring timely receipt, processing, and distribution of deliveries. Your responsibilities include receiving, unloading, and processing incoming shipments while accounting for both incoming and outgoing deliveries. You organize merchandise by department, guest, or client, marking items appropriately for placement, and ensuring accurate delivery to the designated recipient. Communication is key as you liaise with management regarding any instances of loss or damage with packages, facilitating resolution, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Your attention to detail and organization will contribute to the functioning of operations.
The hourly rate for this position is $25.70 per hour.

- Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing, packaging, shipping or receiving role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Hotel experience required.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, overnights and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.

- Ability to perform physical activity for extended periods (bend, lift, walk, stand, push, pull, twist, etc.)
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy weight (100lbs)
- Ability to operate forklift and electric-powered pallet jack
- Previous experience in hotels, food and beverage, storeroom, and/or receiving is a plus.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill job tasks.
- Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required tools and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities and assignments of the storeroom and purchasing.
- Maintain a well-organized, easily inventoried storeroom with agreed upon par levels to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure the purchasing and receiving clerks maintain accurate and detailed records of all deliveries through direct supervision and approval of all daily logs.
- Provide an organized method to ensure efficient product flow.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventories daily and month-end in the storeroom.
- Receive, distribute, and facilitate the distribution of goods throughout the hotel in an accurate and timely manner.
- Verify accuracy and quality of deliveries to the Hotel with "hands-on" analysis of items with drivers.
- Ensure proper storage of deliveries in inventory rooms as designated.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies storage room.
- Maintain cleanliness of the loading dock, storeroom refrigerator, and freezer areas at all times.
- Provide administrative support for the hotel operations as needed.
- Carry out hotel leadership requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
- Follow safety and security procedures.
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
- Additional guest services duties as assigned by management.
- Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
