The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in our construction and manufacturing company by ensuring the smooth flow of materials. Responsible for receiving and distributing items, this role involves meticulous attention to detail in inventory management. Beyond handling the physical aspects of the warehouse, the associate contributes to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Additionally, they actively support other property management functions related to inventory and contribute to the overall success of operations at both the warehouse and corporate office location. This position is essential in fostering a streamlined and productive environment, crucial to our company's success in the construction and manufacturing sector. This position will support the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager. This position offers growth in promotional opportunities and skill advancement within the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders in an accurate and efficient manner to current processes.
- Load and unload shipments using warehouse equipment; Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily to move, load products and materials.
- Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and stock replenishment as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations.
- Receive and inspect incoming products and inventory items with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Efficiently manage receiving and distribution of warehouse products, ensuring proper organization and timely updates to maintain accuracy of inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to enhance operations. Collaborate with inventory team to distribute materials/products to various departments within the company.
- Assist in various aspects of warehouse operations to contribute to overall efficiency.
- This may include collaborating with other departments, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) and perform other labor-intensive duties as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Loading and unloading experience using a Forklift.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently as needed.
- Ability to package materials securely for shipment/distribution.
- Strong materials handling skills, including the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations

Compensation
Hourly position starting at $16.50/hr.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday from 5:30am-2:00pm
