Title: Market Manager, South Florida

Reports to: VP, New Mobility

Location: Remote, US (Must be in Miami)

About the Role
We are seeking a Market Manager to lead on-the-ground operations of our Miami New Mobility program. This is a hands-on role that blends operations, partnerships, marketing, and customer experience. The Market Manager will serve as CharterUP’s local ambassador, ensuring we recruit and support the best operators, activate high-value demand channels, and deliver an exceptional rider experience while partnering closely with HQ teams.

What You’ll Do

Supply & Driver Operations

  • Recruit, onboard, and support independent drivers and fleet partners.
  • Ensure operators comply with CharterUP policies and local regulations.
  • Create KPIs to monitor driver performance, service quality, and safety compliance; provide coaching or intervention as needed.

Demand Generation & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with hotels, universities, event venues, concierges,corporate travel planners, and local regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and manage local partnerships to secure repeat group bookings
  • Represent CharterUP at networking and community events to build local presence.
  • Identify and pursue B2B demand opportunities unique to the Miami market (e.g., cruise travel, nightlife districts, major sporting events).

Marketing & Local Activation

  • Execute local marketing campaigns and promotions in coordination with HQ.
  • Tailor activations to the Miami market while supporting digital efforts led by central marketing.
  • Support brand-building in the community through sponsorships, partnerships, and local event participation.

Customer & Rider Experience

  • Act as escalation point for rider or partner issues; ensure a premium customer experience on every trip.
  • Gather rider and partner feedback; collaborate with HQ to enhance service offerings.
  • Oversee driver and rider boarding/onboarding experience quality

Data, Reporting & Market Performance

  • Track key market KPIs including utilization, trip volume, revenue, driver retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations to HQ leadership.
  • Forecast supply/demand imbalances and implement corrective actions quickly.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Hire and manage local support staff if needed (e.g., dispatchers, operations associates).
  • Collaborate with HQ teams (Ops, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to align local initiatives with company-wide goals.
  • Share Miami-specific insights on pricing, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, hospitality, mobility, or marketplace businesses.
  • Proven ability to execute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with full ownership.
  • Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred; local Miami knowledge required.
  • Hands-on operator mindset: willing to roll up your sleeves and solve problems directly.
