Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for working with the finance team on managing the organization's expenditure reports, invoicing, daily banking, financial policies and capital assets. The Senior Financial Accountant will collaborate with colleagues in business meetings and planning sessions to monitor expenditure reports and budgets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Expenditure reports
- Daily banking
- Invoicing
- Budget revisions
- Sales tax reconciliation
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred. At least 5 years of governmental finance experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed recommendations
- Must be able to communicate effectively and present ideas both orally and in written form
- Possess ability to present budget findings and make recommendations to management
- Must be proficient in using budgeting software and financial tools
- Ability to review budget proposals and financial reports
- Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial forecasting
