Senior Estimator- Commercial Construction bei Skillforce (with general contractor)

Skillforce has teamed up with an industry leading general contractor to find a skilled Senior Estimator in Louisville, KY. This is a contract to permanent, long-term position.

Location: Louisville, KY
Salary Range: $75,000- $85,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant estimating with the ability to deliver accurate takeoffs, material calculations, and cost estimates to support successful project execution. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and proficiency with industry software.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for restaurant construction projects

• Perform material and quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop comprehensive estimates

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details

• Review and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and compliance

• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing information

• Support preconstruction efforts, bid submissions, and value engineering exercises

• Ensure estimates align with project schedules, budgets, and company standards

Senior Estimator Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in restaurant construction estimating (required)

• Strong proficiency with ComputerEase, FieldEase, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite

• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost structures

• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
