Summary: The Accounting Manager will lead the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while driving process efficiency. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this role will play an active part in supporting VP Finance, providing reporting and analysis that will help drive budgets and forecasts. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a collaborative mindset and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Responsible for revenue forecasting and monthly revenue recognition
• Oversee daily accounting operations, coordinating with Shared Service Teams on accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely vendor payments and client collections
• Partner with cross functional teams (Sales, Client Services & Insights, Production, etc) to align financial reporting with business activities
• Support Finance function, including:
• Maintaining and enhancing Sales Dashboard reporting to track business performance
• Participating in the commissions process from goal setting through commission calculation and payout
• Maintain strong and effective internal controls, continuously improving processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audit as well as external tax support to ensure compliance

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
• Experience or exposure to FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) and strong business acumen
• Proficiency with Netsuite
• Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
