ASSISTANT VOLLEYBALL COACH bei Madison Area YMCA

We’re seeking an enthusiastic individual to coach and lead youth volleyball. As an assistant volleyball coach, you’ll create a fun, safe, and supportive environment that builds skills, confidence, and sportsmanship—while staying true to the YMCA’s mission and values. 

Schedule:

• Wednesdays: 3:45 PM – 6:15 PM

• Sundays (Practice): 10:45 AM – 12:15 PM

• Sundays (Occasional Matches): 10:00 AM – 1:30/2:00 PM

• Occasional Saturdays (Matches): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic and age-appropriate volleyball instruction

• Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere for youth participants and families

• Take accurate attendance and submit time worked

• Ensure a clean and safe playing environment

• Respond to emergencies and follow all YMCA safety procedures

What You Bring:

• Strong knowledge of volleyball and experience working with youth

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Age 18+

• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to become certified)
