You will input into our quality processes and help establish best practices for our analyst family together with our leadership team. You will work in our Orlando office, helping build the quality plan for American Football QA and will report to the QA Manager and partner directly with the Producer, Software Engineer, and Designer to agree on the quality plan for our products.ResponsibilitiesQuality Strategy and Test Planning: Use testing skills and methodologies to test the product and share results systematicallyCreate, build, and manage test plansResearch and propose solutions for increasing test coverage efficiencyQuality and Data Analysis:Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and riskReport high impact or complex bugs and provide applicable feedback to improve the quality of the game for playersCollaboration and Communication:Be a communication bridge between development partners and QA teamsRepresent the QA perspective in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.Mentorship and Team Support:Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategiesRequirements2+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game designFamiliarity with automated testing, telemetry, and data literacyExperience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)Experience working in fast paced environments with multiple partners and teams across different geo-locationsGood domain knowledge of football and gaming, with experience in American FootballPath to becoming a Quality Designer:  about the Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team at EA.From Government to Game Development, Jessica Makes a Move.Barbara Homewood had her heart set on becoming a Librarian and is now a Quality Designer at EA.One of our leaders, Ravi Minhas, shares what he is looking for in a Quality Designer.
