Contract - This is a permanent position, but we also welcome applications from candidates who already have a training contract secured to begin in approximately 18 months’ time.

As a Paralegal, you will provide assistance to our Legal Team, with particular focus on retail, consumer and general business matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain experience within a high-achieving and supportive in-house legal team, and to widen their skill set across a broad range of legal and commercial matters in a successful and fast-paced business.

You can expect to get involved with:

• Conducting legal research and supporting with general legal queries
• Maintaining and keeping the contract database up to date, liaising with stakeholders and the procurement function, drafting and reviewing basic legal documents including agreements with suppliers, business to consumer terms and conditions and confidentiality agreements
• Supporting on a variety of projects
• Reviewing changes to laws and guidance that may impact the business

About you

• Previous paralegal experience is desirable
• A degree level qualification
• Ability to work in a team environment with other business functions
• A “can do” attitude with a positive and proactive approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organise yourself efficiently and to work to multiple deadlines
• General business and commercial awareness
