The Juravinski Hospital is an academic centre providing secondary and tertiary acute care services. The site leads the Regional Cancer Program and Orthopedic Surgery Program including the regional assessment centre serving patients throughout the Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, Brant LHIN. The Juravinski also provides general medicine and surgery services for the surrounding community and is supported by an Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit and a full service Emergency Department.
The Clinical Leader of Hematology/Oncology supports the Manager in implementing corporate and program strategic initiatives, as well as coordinating day-to-day operations to facilitate quality patient care, education, and research.
The Clinical Leader also contributes to human resources management and fiscal management within the Hematology program.

*!1. Baccalaureate degree in one of the Health Disciplines preferred or a combination of other relevant academic background and experience
2. Recent (5-7 years) relevant clinical practice
3. Demonstrated leadership and management skills
4. Demonstrated knowledge & skills in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
5. Demonstrated excellence in communication, team-building and the ability to initiate and model positive change
6. Evidence of commitment to continuous education through pursuit of undergraduate studies or comparable educational endeavours
7. Membership in the relevant Professional College/Association
8. Previous experience and knowledge of the service preferred
