ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As an Unattended Development Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting partners and clients integrating Ingenico’s unattended payment solutions. You will bring deep technical expertise in unattended environments, connectivity requirements, and software integration. This role requires a strong developer mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with external developers and internal teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide technical support and guidance for the integration of Ingenico’s unattended payment solutions.
- Understand and advise on unattended-specific requirements, including hardware interfaces, connectivity protocols, and environmental constraints.
- Support partners and clients in implementing solutions using Ingenico software stack
- Collaborate with ISVs, PSPs, and OEMs to ensure successful integration and deployment of unattended solutions.
- Act as a technical liaison between external developers and Ingenico’s internal engineering and support teams.
- Contribute to and leverage Ingenico’s Developer Portal to share knowledge, documentation, and integration best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, escalating when necessary while maintaining ownership of the resolution process.
- Document technical solutions, FAQs, and integration patterns to support scalable partner onboarding.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Strong experience in software development or technical support, ideally in the payments or embedded systems space.
- In-depth understanding of unattended payment environments and connectivity requirements (e.g., Ethernet, 4G, serial, USB).
- Proficiency in C, C#, Java, Kotlin, and working knowledge of WebSocket and JSON.
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, and hardware/software integration.
- Self-managed and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
