Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing East Coast family company, with Platinum Member status in Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s team as an Saltwater Equipment Labourer. The position will be located in St. George, N.B.

The Role

As a part of Saltwater Team you will work Monday to Friday, the hours are 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and report to shift Supervisor or Lead Hand.

Primary duties include:

• Disposal of morts.
• Cleaning and disinfection of mort tubs.
• Observing the appropriate Biosecurity Protocols.
• Handling a great deal of equipment both coming in and going to all salmon farms.
• Inventory keeping.
• Operating forklift.

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to work on calls on weekends.
• Forklift license is an asset.
• Has knowledge in simple inventory.
• The ability to work as part of a team in a high demanding, deadline driven environment.
