VAN Exterior : Battery Cooling System bei Mercedes-Benz Group AG; Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited

Job Requirement:

1. Min 4 years of experience in Automotive Cooling System design and Development of passenger cars/Vans.
2. Good knowledge in Cooling System Components which includes Cooling Module, Engine and Battery Cooling Lines, Surge Tanks, Air guides and should be aware of upcoming technological development.
3. Should have worked as a responsible Design and Development Engineer in the field relevant to Cooling System.
4. Able to work independently with minimum support to handle Global programs from India.
5. Experience in managing suppliers.
6. Able to work as a trusted team member to develop Technical Competency in Cooling System area.
7. Min 3 years’ experience in UG-NX Part Design, Surface Design, Drawings, Product Life Cycle tools GD & T. Awareness of automation tools would be an added advantage.
8. Knowledge in documentation & release management process using a PDM software / Samaragd.
9. Knowledge of Cooling Lines, Surge Tank, plastic & sheet metal part design & manufacturing processes would be necessary. 
10. Open to travel outside of India on short notice.
11. Working experience with International Projects & multicultural environment would be desirable.
12. German Language skills would be advantageous.  

Job Profile:

1. Design & Development of Cooling system and its components line Cooling Module, Engine and Battery Cooling Lines, Surge Tanks, Air guides for Vans.  
2. Release & documentation in PLM.
3. Participate in Project meetings and ensure all project milestones are met and timely escalated.
4. Customer interaction to review engineering /manufacturing/Packaging studies & designing parts in UG-NX.
5. Should be able to work independently with little / no supervision.
6. Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives.
