ACCIONA Energia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across treasury operations, energy revenue settlements, accounts payable, and general accounting compliance within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation. If you have 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a desire to grow your career in the renewable energy sector, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Process banking transactions and support cash flow forecasting.

• Reconcile energy generation data and manage revenue settlements.

• Prepare LGC invoices and support environmental product registrations.

• Assist with accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements via Concur.

• Support month-end reconciliations and statutory reporting.

• Liaise with auditors and prepare compliance documentation.

• Degree qualified in Business or Commerce, ideally with a major in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel – advanced skills highly regarded.
