Financial Crime Analyst (Fraud)

Asthe Financial Crime Analyst (Fraud), you will play an integral part in theprevention, detection and investigation of Fraud impacting our customers.

Youwill work closely with customers who have been impacted by fraud, where youwill discuss the details of the event while using various investigationtechniques to gather information in an efficient and effective manner.

Allapplicants please note, this is a 12-month max term contract and the location for this role is the Brisbane Head Office.

You’ll make an impact by:  

• Liaising with customers via phone and email, who have been impacted by Fraud, with a strong focus on providing education and exceptional service
• Preventing, detecting, and investigating Fraud across all Lending channels, including Personal Loans, Credit Cards and Home Loan applications
• Maintaining a strong focus on the identification and reporting of fraudulent activity across all our products and services whilst ensuring Fraud losses are minimised through prompt detection and recovery actions
• Conducting comprehensive and detailed investigations in accordance with process and reporting requirements

Do things differently with us  

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

• At least 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry or a similar role
• Demonstrable experience and/or exposure to criminal investigation techniques including evidence management and presentation
• Demonstrated Consumer Lending experience will be held in high regard
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment, including autonomously with minimal supervision
