Job Description:Job Summary
SFMS is seeking dependable Part-Time Night Cleaners to clean and sanitize medical clinics and healthcare facilities across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. These positions are essential to maintaining safe environments for patients and staff. Perfect for those looking for a consistent part-time evening shift.
Schedule
Shifts: Evening/Night (Start times vary between 6:00 PM–9:00 PM)
Hours: 2–4 hours per night
Days: 5–7 nights per week (based on facility needs)
Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect exam rooms, offices, lobbies, restrooms, and other clinic areas
Empty trash, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Use of disinfectants and cleaning tools including HEPA vacuums, microfiber systems, and electrostatic sprayers
Follow strict infection prevention and healthcare cleaning protocols
Complete cleaning logs and quality checklists as required
Requirements
Must currently live in the US (we can't sponsor visa at this time)
Must be able to pass extensive credentials to work in hospital
Must pass a background check
Must have up-to-date immunizations (or be willing to update)
Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience preferred (especially in healthcare)
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks during shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Working Conditions
Generally, the employee will be working in both an office and outdoor environment. This position requires regular visits and meetings at worksites. In addition, the incumbent will travel to client (potential or current) sites as needed.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, lift, stoop and carry. The incumbent must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. The incumbent may be exposed to extreme temperatures, close quarter situations, high and precarious places, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. Furthermore, this role routinely uses heavy machinery/equipment such as power tools and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
