The Event Sales Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth, strategy, and execution of Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s private events program. This position combines sales leadership, operational excellence, and passionate hospitality to deliver extraordinary guest experiences that strengthen community connections, elevate the brand, and drive long-term growth.

The Event Sales Manager is expected to think strategically, lead collaboratively, and inspire both guests and internal teams, embodying Saint Arnold’s culture of building community through craft beer and genuine hospitality.

 

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Strategic Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow private events, maximize impact, and optimize profitability while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Proactively generate new business through direct outreach, networking, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Represent Saint Arnold Brewing Company at public and industry events as a visible, respected brand ambassador.
  • Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities for growth, refine offerings, and enhance guest experiences.
  • Own performance goals, tracking all leads, proposals, contracts, and event activity in TripleSeat to consistently exceed targets.

Event Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the full lifecycle of private events, ensuring every detail reflects Saint Arnold’s hospitality standards.
  • Partner with the Hospitality Director, Culinary Director, and operations teams to balance client needs with operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all event details, contracts, billing, and communication are accurately managed in TripleSeat.
  • Continuously innovate the guest experience, introducing enhancements that surprise and delight guests and encourage repeat business.

Guest & Hospitality Leadership

  • Champion each guest’s vision, creating personalized experiences that celebrate connection, community, and craft beer culture.
  • Sell not just the event package, but the experience, service, and genuine hospitality that make Saint Arnold unique.
  • Build trust by anticipating client needs, listening deeply, and delivering events that exceed expectations.
  • Uphold Saint Arnold’s reputation for hospitality by ensuring every guest feels valued, celebrated, and connected to the brand.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead by example in professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork, setting the standard for service excellence.
  • Mentor and guide event coordinators and supporting staff, fostering balanced workloads and continuous skill development.
  • Build strong cross-departmental partnerships that enhance communication, efficiency, and shared ownership of event success.
  • Serve as a promotional ambassador for Saint Arnold both internally and in the community.
  • Inspire others by leading with integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to elevating both guest and team experiences.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for craft beer, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.


Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in event sales, restaurant sales, with proven success in driving growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor, inspire, and align teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Hospitality Passion: Deep commitment to genuine hospitality and the ability to translate client visions into extraordinary, memorable experiences.
  • Sales & Service Expertise: Advanced knowledge of sales strategy, hospitality standards, and client service.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in TripleSeat and Shift Note for event sales, contracts, billing, and communication.
  • Licenses: TABC Certification and Texas Food Handlers License required.
  • Attributes: Adaptable, collaborative, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results in both sales and event execution
