Our Patient Registration team at our West Des Moines Clinic play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and directing patients and visitors to the appropriate location. As part of the team you will be responsible for assisting patients with the check in process by obtaining insurance information, updating patient demographics and collecting co-pays. To thrive in this role, you have prior experience in a medical front office position and a passion for patient well-being. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday with a Saturday morning (8am-12pm) rotation to support our Urgent Injury Clinics.

Here is What You Can Expect:

  • Greeting patients and visitors with a wide variety of backgrounds with a kind and friendly smile setting up their orthopaedic visit to be as successful as possible. Understanding that patients may not be pleasant at times, yet are grateful for our guidance and assistance in getting them back to living.
  • Obtaining necessary information, such as health insurance card, drivers license, demographics. Providing patients with any additional information needing to be completed prior to their visit with the Orthopaedic Physician.
  • Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time that may seem unnatural.
  • This is a private practice that expects outstanding experiences for patients throughout their orthopaedic journey.

  • Experience. Prior experience in a medical office setting is beneficial, although not required.
  • Professional. Display a high-level of professionalism when interacting with our patients and visitors.
  • Curiosity. You practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting patients and co-workers.
  • Dependability. Ensures patients receive timely care, promotes a reliable healthcare environment, and supports the overall efficiency of the team.
