Description
Falcon Structures is seeking experienced Carpenters to perform rough, trim, and finish carpentry in the modification of shipping container-based structures. Benefits to working at Falcon include steady work when its sunny, stormy, or snowy! You come to the same facility each day, no driving around town to different job sites. We provide your tools. You will work with a diverse group of individuals and get to work on interesting projects.
Standard shift hours are Monday through Friday, ranging from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM, with overtime regularly required and weekend assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up and operates wood working tools to cut, form and finish material for the job
- Erects or dismantles structures, builds, repairs and/or refinishes walls or structures
- Sets up framing jigs to correct size for walls
- Installs doors, windows, framing, all insulation, paneling, PVC, cabinetry, and trim
- Can build boxes unsupervised
- Installs wood floors and coin flooring
- Install sheetrock, tape, and float
- Runs MC Wire
- Reviews shop drawings
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 3+ years of experience
- Able to read shop drawings
- Good craftsman, able to perform quality finish work
- Has a good understanding of equipment used
- Must be safety conscience
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Has a learning mindset
- Flexible, friendly, able to collaborate with and coach others, and work on a team
- Ability to use critical thinking
