Job Summary:   Operates Wax Injection Presses. Participates in training and cross-training in production areas.

Responsibilities:

• Learns wax injection process by setting up wax pattern dies and wax injection press according to tech cards, written instructions and photographs
• Learns methods to make a dimensional controlled wax pattern following the correct parameters of the wax process
• Visually inspects patterns and assembled waxes for defects
• Clocks in and out and vouchers on to jobs in ERP computer system
• Reviews router instructions and quantity for acceptance 
• Locates and sets up tooling
• Injects and replenishes wax into machines
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections
• Produce products according to tech cards and work instructions
• Reports Non-conformances
• Maintains tools and equipment
• Keeps work area clean and free from debris
• Adheres to schedule to meet manufacturing needs
• Keep certification to keep production stamp 
• Follow these and other duties as assigned

Schedules:

• 1st (Day) Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
• Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
• Occasionally lifts 25 – 45lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read/write/speak English
• US Person Status
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Good attention to detail and eye/hand coordination skills
• Ability to accurately follow tech cards and travelers
• Follows instructions and records information
• Ability to pass vision test and maintain vision requirements
