Job Purpose
Our Windsor branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
What you will do...
- Loading and unloading of rental equipment
- Status verification of equipment on the yard
- Stage equipment for delivery
- Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
- Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
- Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
- Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
- Equipment quality inspections
- Maintain organization on the yard
- Ability to deal with customers as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Capable of driving equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard
- Construction related experience
Conditions of Employment
- Valid G Driver’s license
- A recent abstract will be required
- Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset

Pay Range: $21-24/hr
