Principal Objective of Position:
Operator I is responsible for set up, operation, and maintenance of processing equipment. They are responsible for accurately and efficiently producing products to customer requirements and standards provided on the work order. Operator I is responsible for completing all equipment safety checks before use.
Essential Functions:

- Process work orders from software
- Measure materials before and after using tape measures, calipers, and steal squares
- Oversee Operator Helper working on the hoist and handling scrap
- Replace parts as necessary, such as blade bolt
- Operate machine from the work area
- Label and package finished products
- Report to supervisor when supplies are low
Other Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must have the ability to effectively read a tape measure
- Must have the ability to proactively maintain machine
- Must have attention to detail
- Good math, verbal, mechanical, and analytical skills
- Must have the ability to work on a team as well as independently
- Basic computer and printer use
- Steel square use
- Arc welder use
- Spray paint use
- Understanding of production procedures
- Must be able to work safely, watch out for the safety of others and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Physical stamina and strength
Work Environment:
This Operator I is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, preferred Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.), preferred Prior experience working in manufacturing, preferred Prior experiences working with Stratix to process orders, preferred Prior experience with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales is preferred
