We’re Hiring: Release Engineer – Plano, TX (Onsite)

Chabez Tech is seeking a talented Release Engineer to join our team and support internal projects. This is a full-time onsite role in Plano, TX

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage the bi-weekly release train across product and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Security, Support).
• Drive CI/CD automation with pipelines, branching, tagging, and release governance.
• Implement security gates (SAST, DAST, Veracode, SBOM, SCA).
• Manage production rollouts, monitor health metrics, triage incidents, and ensure rapid recovery.
• Improve release processes with DORA metrics and automation.

What We’re Looking For

✅ 10+ years in Release/DevOps/Build Engineering

✅ Strong AWS expertise (EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)

✅ Hands-on Salesforce + Copado experience

✅ CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes/Helm

✅ Experience releasing React, React Native, Spring Boot apps

✅ Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

✅ Git expertise and agile release cadence management

✅ Strong communication & stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Haves

• Feature-flag platforms (LaunchDarkly), OTA/CodePush, Fastlane
• Test automation (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, SonarQube)
• AWS/Kubernetes certifications
• Familiarity with SOC2, SOX, ITIL, and SRE/DORA practices
