Description
Basic Function:
This position performs various administrative functions for the Collections Department. The incumbent provides support in coordinating daily correspondence, bankruptcy verification, consumer disputes and data entry in support of the Collection Department.
Principal Accountabilities (Essential Functions)
1. Processes daily mail return and updates collection system.
2. Notes system with bankruptcy and cease and desist status.
5. Handles all consumers disputes accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Manage all correspondence daily that might include the following insurance information,
consumer disputes, special request from consumers, etc.
7. Maintains punctual attendance.
8. To assist in daily tasks collections team with letters and mail.
9. Must build a good relationship with clients to request and verify information regarding consumers either by phone, email, or through client portal.
10. Reset passwords for client as needed.
11. Answer phones and transfer calls as needed.
12. Assist in posting paysheets from clients.
13. Handle daily reports as well as end of month reporting.
14. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required (Know How)
A high school diploma or GED is required with some PC knowledge, and minimum typing skills of 40-50 wpm as well as customer service, product knowledge, quality focus, problem solving, , documentation skills, listening, courteous phone skills, resolving conflict, analyzing information , multi-tasking, professionalism, maintenance and support for the Sarma Collections, Inc.
