WPP Deutschland Holding delivers vital Finance, Legal, Tax, and other services to a range of renowned media and advertising agencies within the German WPP network.
We are currently seeking a Junior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our Legal Team in Düsseldorf as soon as possible.
What you'll be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Expertise: Independent handling of contract, commercial, IT, and data protection law matters.
- Contract Management: Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing international client contracts.
- Strategic Counsel: Advising management on business transactions and legal implementation of strategies.
- Operational Support: Addressing ad-hoc legal inquiries from various departments.
- Database Management: Maintaining legal databases, including contract management tools.
- External Coordination: Liaising with external partners like law firms.
What you'll need:
- Fully qualified German lawyer, having successfully completed your second state examination.
- Initial legal experience, ideally gained within a corporate legal department (e.g., during your legal clerkship), with a preference for exposure to the advertising and/or media industry.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in civil law and contract drafting.
- A goal-oriented, analytical mindset coupled with strong communication skills.
- Profound understanding of economic contexts and a practical, problem-solving approach.
- Hands-on mentality, a collaborative team player, and comfortable challenging existing structures.
- Structured, meticulous, and digitally savvy work ethic.
- Business-fluent German and English language skills.
