IT Support bei Miller’s Textile Services

Miller’s Textile Services is currently hiring for an entry level, Part Time IT Support person, to join our team at our Wapakoneta, Ohio location.

What will you do at work?

Assist end users with basic hardware and software issues

Respond to support tickets, emails, or calls for assistance

Diagnose and resolve level 1 technical problems; escalate complex issues, as needed

Assist with monitoring and managing security camera system

Assist with monitoring and managing fire alert system

Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment

Support configuration and deployment of IT hardware, software, and systems

Assist with other basic IT responsibilities as directed by IT Manager

What are the minimum qualifications?

Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Basic understanding of MS Office suite, networking fundamentals, and PC hardware/software troubleshooting

Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing priorities

Ability to communicate with a professional, support focused approach

Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate in English

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs as needed

Generally work will be performed in an office environment with limited exposure to manufacturing floor

Day travel to depot locations may be required at times, no overnights required

What part time schedules are available?

Flexible work schedule available; however must have availability to work up to 20 hours during regular office hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm), Monday to Friday.  Ideal candidate will be available for up to 4 hours daily during this time frame.
