Senior Consumer Loan Officer

About the role:

Directs and coordinates Naveo’s Consumer Loan activities by performing the following duties personally or through colleagues and subordinates

  • Create and maintain digital and physical loan files
  • Collect, track and review for accuracy all loan application documentation
  • Obtain all credit reports, verifications, Social Security Verifications, Tax Return Transcripts
  • Determine loan decisioning based on CU policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Review with members reasons for denial and explore alternate options when loan requests are denied.
  • Determine collateral needs and payment plans for members applying for loans.
  • Determine eligibility of co-maker from co-maker’s statement and credit rating.
  • Verify accuracy of loan amounts and repayment terms on approved loan applications.
  • Manage loan disbursements and closings
  • Effectively communicate with members and co-workers regarding the loan process.
  • Implement new loan products and services in accordance with management direction.
  • Train and support branch personnel in origination and processing of consumer loans. 
  • Help develop new consumer lending products and channels, and coordinates implementation, coordinating with Naveo departments and vendors, and assures regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Responsible for monitoring and processing loans through LPQ portal
  • Periodic survey of competitive interest rate for consumer credit, and recommendations for pricing adjustments
  • Responsible for various monthly consumer reports and pipeline.

Our ideal candidate looks like: 

Education/Experience: 

· Associates Degree preferred

· Two to Four years lending experience. 

· Ability to interpret financial statements
