About the Role
Vitro Architectural Glass is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) to join our Carlisle, PA facility. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of our plant equipment, supporting production goals, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support for maintenance and installation of plant equipment.
- Lead and manage projects involving process control systems, power distribution, and equipment upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical and process control needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a culture of safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with an engineering degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, control systems, and process automation.
- Proficiency in computer programming for process control is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Working Conditions
- Based in a manufacturing facility.
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional overtime, weekends, and evenings may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods.
