PART-TIME STAFF ASSISTANT, REGISTERED NURSE bei Felician University

Part-time Registered Nurse, Nursing Resource and Simulation Center, Parsippany

Felician University is presently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dedicated registered nurse to serve as part-time Staff Assistant for the Nursing Resources and Simulation Center in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Reporting to the Associate Dean of Hybrid ABSN in the School of Nursing, the Staff Assistant provides educational support for students in the undergraduate and graduate programs who are working on the development of their psycho-motor skills, their ability to utilize simulation techniques to demonstrate competencies, and ensuring the provision of safe patient care.

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• 2+ years’ recent clinical experience precepting and/or teaching.
• Proven knowledge of nursing math calculations.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word and Excel)
• Demonstrated experience with simulation learning modalities.   
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and follow through skills.
• Ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University.
