About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team during a pivotal stage of growth. As we scale commercially, you will play a critical role in building robust financial systems and processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving compliance with US GAAP. You will be instrumental in both day-to-day operations and strategic decision making ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Salary range is $130K - $160K.
About You

Responsibilities include:
- Manage and execute month-end and year-end close processes including preparing and posting journal entries in SAP, performing balance sheet account reconciliations and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and appropriately classified
- Assist in the preparation of U.S. GAAP compliant financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement)
- Manage fixed assets, including recording acquisitions and disposals and calculating monthly depreciation
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain to develop, maintain, and analyze standard cost models for manufactured products, including material, labor, and overhead; investigate and explain variances between standard and actual costs to support operational and financial decision-making
- Maintain and apply standard cost accounting principles for inventory and manufacturing processes, including setting and updating standard costs and analyze variances
- Act as a key liaison for external auditors during audits, ensuring timely and professional response to requests and inquiries
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of ERP system, SAP, and Finance & operational workflows
- Support the design and enforcement internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
Desired skills and qualities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 5+ years of accounting experience preferably in medical devices or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with stock-based compensation, clinical trial accounting, sales compensation accounting and fixed asset management
- Proficiency in accounting and equity systems (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, Planful, Carta) and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in an evolving startup environment with ability to to manage multiple priorities
- CPA certification or actively pursuing is a plus
