Position Summary
As a Seasonal Team Member, you will be part of a collaborative and energetic staff that supports a wide range of operations including recreation, hospitality, programming, lifeguarding, waterfront services, and guest engagement. This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, enthusiastic, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guest Services & Hospitality
- Greet and assist guests at gates, venues, and lodging facilities with warmth and professionalism.
- Support check-in/check-out processes, ticketing, and general inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public spaces, restrooms, and accommodations.
- Provide information about Lakeside programming, schedules, and amenities.
- Recreation & Waterfront
- Facilitate recreational activities such as pickleball, tennis, and shuffleboard tournaments, arts & crafts, fitness classes, and family activities.
- Monitor designated swimming areas and enforce safety protocols (lifeguard certification required for applicable roles).
- Assist with boat rentals, paddleboards, sailing, and waterfront equipment.
- Maintain waterfront cleanliness and readiness.
- Programming & Events
- Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of cultural, educational, and spiritual programs.
- Support special events including concerts, lectures, worship services, and community celebrations.
- Engage with guests to encourage participation and ensure safety and enjoyment.
- Help coordinate logistics for speakers, performers, and presenters.
- Operational Support
- Set up and break down equipment for daily activities and events.
- Assist with inventory, supplies, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Respond to guest feedback and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned by department supervisor
Qualifications:
- Friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Open availability from Memorial Day to Labor Day
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain active throughout the day.
- Lifeguard certification preferred for waterfront roles (training may be available).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, or customer service is a plus

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
