Worldwide Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Wilton, Connecticut for a large-scale, complex, retrofit manufacturing construction project. 
 
The organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager would support a complex retrofit project in a live, high-tech manufacturing environment. This project serves a global leader in the semiconductor industry. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with foundational construction knowledge who is eager to build a career in Construction Management. You will gain hands-on experience in project execution, scheduling, and cost control while collaborating with an experienced team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project team with day-to-day project coordination, documentation, and reporting
  • Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Support cost tracking, forecasting, and budget reporting
  • Prepare meeting minutes, action item lists, and project status updates
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain schedule alignment
  • Help monitor project progress and identify potential issues affecting cost or schedule
  • Maintain organized project documentation for audits and future reference


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of construction experience (internships, co-ops, or field exposure highly valued)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project is required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work onsite in an active manufacturing facility and adapt to a dynamic environment
