Compounder – 3rd Shift

As a Compounder you’ll be working to support the plant’s day-to-day operations. You’ll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our products – helping to improve real lives.
Your key responsibilities
- Compound chemicals to create flavored products by operating automated and semi-automated pumps, filters, scales and computer systems.
- Precisely and safely filling raw materials into a tank, ensuring grounding and bonding, ensuring no underfilling or overfilling and reporting any deviations
- Complete batches, including scanning partial components for final batches
- Utilize a computer to obtain detailed formula information and availability of raw materials, post batches, check inventory and print labels.
- Utilization of computer systems Weight Assisted Computer (WAC); Management Enterprise System (MES); and SAP; for material scanning, material lookup, and goods receipt.
- Scale verification, precision weighing using weight assisted computer (WAC), using correct scales, etc.

You bring
- High School diploma or prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $27.00- $29.00.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
