What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support a team of mechanical maintenance technicians.
- Foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities, including scheduled shutdowns and urgent repairs.
- Ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and information needed to succeed.
- Prioritize and manage work orders for timely completion.
- Continuously improve team efficiency and equipment uptime.
- Assist with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain and update SOPs and PMs.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and timekeeping.
- Support manufacturing operations as needed.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Experience:
- 3–5 years in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing or production.
- 6–7 years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing up to 12 direct reports.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge (rigging, welding, piping, alignment, etc.)
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and industrial safety programs (OSHA, LOTO, confined space, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance systems (Epicor, SAP).
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and production equipment.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Work Environment:
This role involves frequent operation of heavy and small equipment, power tools, and production machinery. You’ll work both indoors and occasionally in all weather conditions, with physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing.
