Assistant Dance Coach Part Time bei Marian University

As part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Dance Coach to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by assisting in the general operation of the Marian Dance program. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the supervision and organization of practices and games while complying with relevant rules and regulations
• Maintain proper and appropriate discipline among students during athletic contests, practices, and while on trips off campus.
• Under supervision by the Head Dance coach,  is responsible for conducting Dance practices in season and during spring.
• Comply with policies established by federal and state laws, Marian University, Conference, and NAIA policies and procedures
• Promote the philosophy and values of the Athletic Program and Marian University’s
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Preferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Prior coaching experience (high school, college, and/or studio/club)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must display excellent customer and staff relation skills
• Knowledge of and a commitment to the mission of Marian University
