Job Description
This
position assists with various responsibilities within the administrative
operations of the Business Office. It
serves as a primary processing point of contact for financial transactions
originating from Athletics and processes items such as requisitions, vouchers,
expense reports, budgetary encumbrances and transactions related to Athletics
staff. This position works under the
general supervision of the Associate AD for Business Operations to process
temporary budget transfers, journal entries, and financial transactions. This
individual will also be included on various research projects throughout the
year and may also be used to help reconcile monthly budget spreadsheets.
This
position would also assist with the department procurement card program,
reconciling monthly transactions and troubleshooting issues. The position would also assist with
processing scholarship book reimbursements for student athletes.
This internship is a 40-week internship, 40 hours a week, Rate: $16 per hour ($640/week), with benefits, including tuition remission
Requirements
Minimum of two years of financial support experience.
Specific responsibility working with MS Office software.
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred / Desired:
Preferred financial systems and budgets experience.
Preferred previous experience in a University setting.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
Position will periodically require night and/or weekend work demands.
