- Employee Relations & Support: Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries from UK employees and managers. You will guide and resolve employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases, ensuring all actions are compliant with UK law and company policy.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure full compliance with all local employment laws and regulations. This includes handling employee onboarding, conducting right-to-work checks, and processing relevant documentation. You'll also support the UK's benefits administration, addressing employee questions and liaising with the global benefits team as needed.
- Manager Guidance: Partner with line managers to provide expert, pragmatic advice and coaching on a range of people matters. This includes managing sickness, absence, and performance, as well as providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Global Process Support: Support the UK-based implementation of existing global HR processes, including talent development and engagement initiatives, in collaboration with the wider People team.
- Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring all ER cases and other key interactions are properly documented.
- Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on, generalist HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations within a fast-paced environment. Experience working in the tech industry is highly preferred.
- UK Law: In-depth, practical knowledge of UK employment law, regulations, and best practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. You should be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently and can handle sensitive issues with discretion and empathy.
- Certifications: A CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is preferred.
- Contracting: Previous experience as a contractor or in an interim role is a plus.
