Project Manager – Offload Hose Reel Replacement bei Wood

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe effective delivery of the project in accordance with the client’s Engineering Process. 

This includes coordination of internal project and discipline resources, and ensuring arrangements for sub-contracted Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning services are aligned to Dana business requirements. 

You will ensure effective interface with other applicable business functions such as operations support, shutdown coordination and supply chain to ensure supply, logistics, construction, commissioning and handover is completed successfully.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Development of Project Execution Plan and associated resource model
• Development of an overall integrated project schedule, risk register and action tracker
• Interface with operations and shutdown focal points to ensure alignment and readiness to execute all planned activities
• Ensure project deliverables are subjected to adequate scrutiny
• Provide input to engineering project scope definition and execution
• Delivery of work within assigned budgets and identification of cost savings
• Management of third-party suppliers in the execution of topsides engineering project delivery 
• Ensure topsides engineering project work scopes follow the relevant Dana management procedures
• Ensure effective interface with IVB regarding modification verification activities 
• Adhere to and comply with relevant Dana procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Identify business risks and provide input to the business risk register and cumulative risk process
• Familiarise with the client policies, including the policies on HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards
• Familiarise with the One Dana Management System and its meaning for day-to-day work
• Familiarise with the work and be aware of all associated risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR)
• Report any incident, near miss, hazards (unsafe acts/situations) and improvement suggestions
• Know their roles and responsibilities
• Actively participate in any job or HSEQ training or instruction by or on behalf of the client
• Use all provided means as intended and according to their purpose

Expected: 

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Delivery of projects involving critical marine operations, such as CSV’s, Lift Vessels, heading control
• Awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports
• Proven track record in project delivery and third-party management
• Experience of asset operations either in an onshore or offshore role 
• Experience of EPC work including at concept, FEED and detailed design
• Membership of / Chartership by a relevant industry body i.e. APM, IMechE is beneficial but not essential
