Job Description:

As ASOS evolves to become faster, sharper, and more customer-obsessed, we understand that transformational change must be deeply rooted in our culture, ways of working, and organisational systems. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Effectiveness, this role is critical in shaping a resilient, adaptable, and high-performing culture aligned with our strategic aspirations.

The Senior Cultural Change Partner will operate as an OD practitioner within the Talent & Culture Centre of Expertise, applying behavioural science, systems thinking, and evidence-based practice to enable sustainable change, build organisational capability, and support the continuous evolution of ASOS’s culture. Acting as both a thought leader and strategic delivery partner, the role consults across the business to elevate leadership, drive systemic alignment, and embed a culture of learning, inclusion, agility, and ownership.

What You’ll Learn and Contribute To

As the Senior Cultural Change Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping ASOS’s organisational culture and leading enterprise-wide change initiatives. You’ll bring thought leadership, strategic insight, and hands-on delivery to embed a values-driven, high-performance culture and build change capability across the business. Working closely with PX colleagues, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams, you’ll influence, advise, and enable transformation through data-informed strategies, inclusive practices, and scalable frameworks that drive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and embed a dynamic, values-led culture architecture rooted in ASOS’s ABCD values, integrating leadership behaviours, team norms, and rituals
  • Lead organisational diagnostics and employee listening strategies to assess cultural health and identify opportunities for alignment and growth
  • Develop and facilitate systemic culture interventions, including workshops and action learning sets, to embed desired mindsets and behaviours
  • Build cultural capability across leadership and management, coaching stakeholders on role-modelling, narrative-setting, and system stewardship
  • Collaborate with DEI specialists to embed equity and belonging into cultural systems and practices
  • Design and implement an enterprise-wide change framework, defining principles, tools, and methods for leading and managing change
  • Build change leadership capability through experiential learning, coaching, and practical resources embedded in the flow of work
  • Support sustainable change adoption by embedding new ways of working into systems, processes, and culture
  • Apply OD principles such as diagnosis before prescription, systems thinking, and learning organisation practices to all interventions

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications:

What You’ll Bring

You’re motivated by the opportunity to shape cultural change at scale, bringing strategic thought leadership and a collaborative mindset to everything you do. You work confidently across complex stakeholder landscapes, partnering with other Talent & Culture Pillar Leads to drive coordinated outcomes. With a disciplined and agile approach, you manage programs and initiatives that deliver real impact, even in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

You will also have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in organisational development, psychology, business, HR, or a related field
  • Significant experience delivering enterprise-wide culture and change interventions, ideally with a consulting or in-house OD background
  • Deep expertise in OD principles and tools (e.g., systems thinking, group dynamics, change theory, appreciative inquiry, organisation design)
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite leaders and partner at senior levels to drive systemic change
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale change programs and building change capability in complex environments
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engagement strategies
  • Experience using organisational data to inform strategy and drive behavioural and systemic change

The following qualifications and experience would be highly beneficial:

  • Master’s degree in OD, organisational psychology, or a related discipline
  • OD or Change Management certification (e.g., NTL, Prosci, ACMP, CIPD Level 7, HSD Institute)
  • Experience developing internal change and culture frameworks from the ground up
  • Strong grounding in DEI, with experience embedding inclusive practices across systems and processes
  • Proven agility in working across multiple business functions with varying priorities and maturity levels
  • Ability to scale impact by enabling others — building toolkits, templates, and empowering communities of practice
