• Job location: Calgary, Alberta
• Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with business units to understand business needs and position requirements to devise appropriate recruitment strategies
• Create and manage all requisitions and applicants through the Candidate Management System
• Drive Canadian Natural brand awareness by partnering with schools and career centers, student clubs, faculty and taking part of industry advisory boards within these post-secondary institutions
• Attract qualified candidates by managing a targeted campus recruitment strategy and executing it through sponsorships, social media, school job boards, virtual and in-person career fairs and networking events
• Actively participate in the recruiting process with hiring managers including screening resumes, preparing interview questions, coordinating and conducting behavior-based interviews with candidates, applying appropriate selection processes and issuing offers
• Provide direct HR advisory support to our student employees as their primary point of contact

What you Bring to the Role:

• Relevant post-secondary degree program, complemented by at least four years of Human Resources experience in the area of recruitment and selection
• Strong communication skills with the ability to network with internal HR, business reps, internal leadership, external vendors, schools, and candidates
• Oil and gas industry experience will be considered an asset
• Superior organizational and project management skills are required
