Early Childhood Teacher (Kindergarten Program) – Busy Bees at Williams Landing

Licensed Capacity: 135 places
Salary Range: $47.06 – $60.56/hour (ECT scale, depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead and deliver our Kindergarten Program at Busy Bees at Williams Landing. This role is ideal for an experienced ECT with more than 1 year of experience in delivering a funded Kindergarten program, who is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for their transition to school.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a kindergarten program aligned with the VEYLDF and EYLF

• Creating engaging, inclusive, and play-based learning environments for preschool children

• Documenting and assessing children’s learning and development

• Building strong, collaborative partnerships with families, children, and colleagues

• Supporting the centre team to ensure high-quality outcomes in line with the NQF and VECTEA standards

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

• Current VIT Registration (provisional or full)

• At least 1+ year experience delivering a funded Kindergarten Program

• Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQF

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

• A collaborative and professional approach to teaching and learning
