Position Summary

An Integration M-Guide Engineer uses knowledge of wGPM, eSPEC, and MGuide to create, edit, approve, and troubleshoot process flow changes, queue times, spec target / limits, interlocks, metrology sampling, measurement points, etc. Engineering input is received and reviewed for accuracy before being entered into the system for implementation. Team members also perform a majority of the takes for MGuide (measurement) creation for new product/technology introduction, including layout, site, and image review. Production databases control the steps, recipes, and other critical parameters that affect production lots, so flawless execution, organized project planning, and excellent communication / people skills are required. A typo or incorrect setting could result in a high volume of material scrap and/or production delays. Must work well with other interdepartmental teams to test and safely resolve issues / problems. Will need to develop or refine workflows, business processes, SOPs, training materials, and system authority levels to promote both efficiency and quality.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Audit, execute, or approve Engineering requests to manage content in Samsung systems.

• MGuide (Metrology measurement guide): Reviewing layout sand maintenance/update/review of existing product MGuides.

• wGPM

• Create MGuides for new products / technology introduction.

• Troubleshoot open-ended issues with the system above in conjunction with interdepartmental teams.

• Develop SOPs, workflows, and training materials to improve both team and site practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:

• 4-year Engineering Degree or related

• Prefer 2+ years' experience with database entry, basic database administration and /or auditing (strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel)

• Background in coding is a plus (no specific coding is required for this position)

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
