As a leading cleantech developer, Fervo is dedicated to driving the transformation of the renewable energy industry. We are seeking a motivated and creative undergraduate or graduate student to join our team as a Multimedia Intern during the summer of 2026.

The Multimedia Intern will spend the summer assisting with a wide range of projects that amplify Fervo’s brand and share our story with diverse audiences. This role is designed for someone who wants to push creative boundaries and shape the way Fervo tells its story. We’re looking for a self-starter with fresh ideas who is eager to explore new formats, from short-form video and motion graphics to interactive visuals and experimental content strategies.

Responsibilities

Creative Development

• Develop innovative multimedia concepts to strengthen Fervo’s brand and external presence
• Design compelling graphics, animations, and motion assets for web, social, and presentations

Content Production

• Capture and edit photo and video content for use across digital platforms and events
• Lead an independent multimedia project from pitch to publication, with potential for external release

Collaboration & Storytelling

• Partner with the communications team to brainstorm creative campaigns and storytelling opportunities
• Adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited program; preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field
• Experience using multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software, and photography equipment
• Familiarity with animation and video editing platforms (e.g., After Effects, Premiere, or similar) preferred
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
• Proactive self-starter who can plan, adapt, and execute tasks independently
•  Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment 

Location

Fervo Energy has offices in Houston, TX, Golden, CO, Reno, NV, Oakland, CA, and Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be eligible for some hybrid work flexibility, but regular in-office presence at our Houston Office will be required.
