Summary/Objective 

The HR Generalist oversees employee engagement, communications, and training for employees and managers in the hospital. This role collects, tracks, and trends data to develop ideas for employee engagement throughout the hospital.

Essential Job Duties

  1. Promotes engagement and employee morale by coordinating events and promotions, such as Employee of the Year, etc. Participates in Employee Relations concerns, as needed. Conducts Exit Interviews for voluntary terminations, including tracking and trending of data. 
  2. Process all PAF’s excluding new hires (including Status Changes, Title Changes, Department Transfers) and ensuring accurate job descriptions are filed. Updates Taleo and Position Control accordingly. 
  3. Creates and distributes weekly communication to all employees via the Baptist Bee, and creates any other communications as requested. Develops and maintains engaging, informative content for employee communications displayed on TV monitors.
  4. Enters and tracks incentive bonuses including sign on bonuses, preceptor incentive, etc. Collects monies owed from terminated employees for unfulfilled contracts. Assist legal counsel with collection based lawsuits. 
  5. Provides oversight and coordination to several projects including, but not limited to, Performance Evaluations, Employee Satisfaction Survey, BEAR, etc.Serves as the main point of contact for Immigration matters for international hires and assists in the process of obtaining citizenship.
  6. Plans and coordinates training for new and existing leadership and/or staff, to ensure continuous learning as needed.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required with at least 1 – 3 years of related experience in field.
